- Your attitude plays a big role on your life, the way you think, and the way you act. Attitude is a bigger idea than one perceives it to be. Your attitude basically reflects the way people treat you. Attitude can "color" any situation by basically deciding the way things go when you interact with others or when you are doing something. It is best to have positive thoughts so that it can impact your attitude in a positive and effective way.

- Although someone may have more talent than you or be better at something than you are, there is no reason for someone to work harder than you. You should work just as hard or harder to achieve the same goal as that other person. Just because someone is better at something than you are doesn't mean that they are the absolute best. You can work to be the best or be better than the "best" . Hard work pays off and it's what gets you far no matter what you bring to the table.

- The truth is one of the most powerful things. The truth can either make or break you and in the end the truth will prevail. Prevail means to be stronger: to prove to be stronger and in the position of greater influence and power : win through , to prove to be effective . The truth is very effective in most cases and it always does good to tell the truth. Whether the truth is bad or good , depends on the way people take it, it's always better than a lie.

- The past is the past and you should let it go. Don't dwell on what happened then and lose focus of what's happening now at this very moment. The future is a dream and something that we want and desire. The future is just that though ... the future ; it's so far away. All we ever have is now. Now is the time to do what has to be done. Focus on the present. Things are happening so rapidly and anything can be gone in a split second.

- Having a vision without taking any approach is just a daydream. It's a thought that's not put into action. Doing something without having a plan to do so can turn into something bad. You can't act without thinking nor think without acting. Actions and thinking go hand in, and only applying one component to the mixture will not give you the full product.

What Makes A Good Father?

-  I personally like this quote because it has a very good meaning. "What makes a good father isn't what you leave for your son, but what you leave within your son." I feel that no matter what you may have and how much of it you have, when you have a child, what you instill in them is far more important than what you leave them. You could be the best parent in the world and give your child everything they need without financially benefitting them. You can leave them with nothing but at the same time...everything.

How To Drake It In America

Summary: This article is about Drake and his success thus far. He talks about his life, the way he lives, music, money, and the fame. When Drake isn't on the road, he's at home in Toronto chilling with his family. Drake admits in the beginning of the article that he really doesn't live some crazy rapper life. As the article progresses, the author of the article says "I kind of believe him. Beneath the banter and joviality--beneath Drake's thousand - watt - smile-- one almost immediately senses a moodier seriousness, a grown-up intention..." Drake is trying to shield himself from all the distractions in order to prove himself once again. Drake wants to take the crown in the rap industry, and he is steady climbing to the top. In some moments of the article, Drake touches on his altercation with Chris Brown and only gives positive feedback rather than bashing him. He also admits that he deeply cares for singer, Rihanna. Although Drake is a very well-known rapper, there are still some unsolved mysteries about him. Drake talks about his relationship with his father, Dennis Graham, and goes on to tell about their fractured relationship. Drake ends by giving his feelings about his album "Nothing Was The Same" and quotes the song "From Time" by saying "I'm trying to get back to being that kid in the basement".

Opinion- This is a good article in my opinion. This article touches on some important factors in Drake's life that tell more about who he is and how he became to be. Drake is a phenomenal artist and his credit is given where it's due.

Thought Provoking  Question- Do you think Drake is a good artist and could you say that he is one of the rappers in the game that is currently on top? Why or why not?

You Can't Win Some Without Losing Some.

~ I find this quote very inspirational in a way. Although Michael Jordan just so happened to be a great basketball player doesn't mean that he always won. You have to lose (in a figurative sense) sometimes in order to get better and "win". Success doesn't come easily. It takes the ups and downs to get you to where you want to be. Failure isn't always a bad thing. Failure in some cases is motivation. That failure can impact you in a positive way by giving you a reason to want to be more and do more. There's always Room For Improvement. *had to throw a little Drake in there*

Life: Does The Way You React Play A Big Role?

Life is ten percent (10%) of what happens to you and ninety percent (90%) of how you react to it.


~ Life doesn't always have so much to do with what happens to you or anybody. Life hardly relies on what happens to you. When things happen. the way you react to it plays the main role and basically determines the way things/ events play out. Life is guided by choices and decisions and whatever happens goes along with that.

My New Year's Resolution

My New Year's resolution is to have more confidence in myself and to boost my self-esteem.

1. I plan on having more confidence by believing in myself and what I do. I'm usually very doubtful when it comes down to me doing something, but I want to work on that and stop doubting myself so much. I feel like you can only have as much confidence as you allow yourself to have.
2. I plan on boosting my self-esteem by stop putting myself down. Self empowerment is essential. Low self-esteem makes you feel worse about your self and you don't have very high expectations of yourself.
